Add an Internet Domain to an Existing Exchange Server

This How To assumes that:

you have bought the domain name

domain name points to an already operating Exchange server

Create the usernames for the new domain:

Use Active Directory Users and Computers console to create the SMTP names for existing users or new users with SMTP names for the new domain

Tell the Exchange server that it may accept mail for the new domain:

Exchange System Manager

"existing domain" Network Domain

Recipients

Recipient Policies

Default Policy

E-Mail Addresses (Policy)

New

use "@newdomainname.com"

check mark the new address to activate it
